Ski Trip, February 2005.

 

No class today!  Let's get out of Anspach and hit the slopes!

Outside the Snowsnake Lodge.  It's going to be a great day for skiing!

I went snowboarding last week. So far I have gone snowboarding three times. At that time, I tried jump on snowboard. Then I absorb an impulse to my body. A moment I didn't get up. Maybe Steve saw me. I remember his word of sympathy.  "Take it easy !!" Really I'd like to go to home because I felt sick all of my body. But I endured. I challenged to jump again. So we took some pictures of jumping scenes. I succeed in jumping just before I went home. Anyway, I enjoyed riding snowboard at that time.  This is a picture of me flying!  John-Ban

 

 

This hill is steeper than it looks!

My experience skiing was very fun because I didn’t ride for a long time. When I saw the resort the first time, I was disappointed because think that it was so small, but I enjoyed jumping. Although I can’t very well, I learned many techniques. I am sore until now because I fell down so many times. Anyway, my snowboarding experience was very fun at Snow Snake. I wish to go there again.  Jung-Hoon

I like winter and skiing. I'm good at skiing but I'm beginning snowboard. At the time, I fell down many times. I hurt my finger. Snowboarding is so very fast. The first time, I was afraid of ski jump. But I'm exciting from ski jump. Ski jump is terrible. I want to go ski again!  Jon

I looked forward to the skiing day. I bought the clothes for snowboarding and I did other preparation. I think that I got acquainted with more friends easily through the ski trip. Although I made an effort to make a company with them, I could have common topic such as ski or snowboard and feel pleasure together by sharing time. I rode a snowboard first, and I changed to snowblade in the afternoon. I tried to ride a snowblade the first time. This snowblade is similar with ski. But it is much shorter than ski. I felt that I could enjoy a faster speed on a snowblade.  Jin

I think this trip is very good. I had very good time because I spoke to many Korean people. I got many friends. I want to go to snowboard with Korean people again!  Hiroaki
